Exploring the Land . Oaxaca, Mexico

In October, my steps will lead me to Oaxaca, the sacred land of María Sabina, whose devotion forever transformed the way the world came to know the wisdom of the mushroom kingdom. There, I will continue deepening my relationship with fungi, while also being nourished by the heart-opening medicine of cacao and the profound remembrance of the Temazcal, where the womb of the Earth invites us into ritual death and rebirth. Every land carries its own language, its own rhythm, its own way of revealing what cannot be learned from books. To become truly native is not to belong to a place by birth, but to keep learning how to listen, honour, and speak the language of the land wherever our feet are called.
