Stay in FLOW | MARS enters CANCER . The Warrior Enters the Waters

Today Mars enters Cancer, bringing the force of action into the waters of belonging |
Our roots, lineage, family, home and the places where we seek nourishment.
In mythology, Ares is the warrior, instinctive, passionate and quick to act. Poseidon, ruler of the waters, belongs to another realm | shifting, mysterious and impossible to conquer by force. When the warrior enters the waters, the invitation is to discover that not everything can be resolved through action. Some things must first be felt, remembered and allowed to move.
With Mars in tension with Neptune, the waters may become stirred. This is where the familiar pattern of passive-aggression can emerge |
When the impulse to act is present, but the emotional waters make it difficult to know how, when or where to direct that force. Yet perhaps this transit invites us to re-signify the term, not as a flaw in character, but as an invitation to become conscious of where our boundaries are unclear, where resentment is accumulating, or where our desires have not yet found an honest expression.
Neptune asks |
What do you truly value? What is sacred enough to protect? Where does compassion end and self-abandonment begin?
Mars asks us to give those answers form through conscious action.
Look into your natal chart and find where Cancer lives. What dimension of your life is being stirred? What memories around family, belonging or nourishment are resurfacing?
And what action is being asked of you, not to erase the past, but to transmute the way you relate to it?
Perhaps Mars in Cancer reminds us that conscious action is not always about doing more. Sometimes the bravest action is learning to name what we feel, honour what we need, and protect what is sacred, so that when we finally move, we move from a deeper place of belonging.
