Every New Moon invites us into a moment of recalibration, a quiet interval in which one cycle gives way to another. The Sun entered Libra on September 21, marking the beginning of a new solar season in the Northern Hemisphere. Yet the days between the equinox and this New Moon offer a time of adjustment, as we gradually attune ourselves to the changing rhythms of the macrocosmos. The New Moon brings this transition inward, inviting us to find our bearings for the cycle ahead.

As I prepare to travel to Oaxaca, to walk upon the soil where María Sabina lived, prayed, sang and practiced her medicine, I find myself looking backwards, because something in me is beginning to recognise the thread. I am going to Oaxaca with a mission, a mission that began long before I knew I was on my way there, and when I look at the path behind me now, I realise how many of the things I once experienced as separate were quietly preparing the ground for one another. I am

Mercury has entered Scorpio, and the messenger has descended. In the myth of Persephone, Hermes is the one who travels into the realm of Hades to bring what has been taken into the underworld back toward the light. He moves between worlds, the visible and invisible, the conscious and unconscious, the world above and the world below. This is the territory of Mercury in Scorpio. The airy, mobile intelligence of Mercury enters the deep waters of Scorpio, and the mind is no longe

Only a few days after the Equinox, the Full Moon rises in Aries, illuminating the opposite end of the Libra–Aries axis. We have just been contemplating Libra | relationship, reciprocity, balance, the art of meeting another without losing ourselves. Now the light turns toward the other side of the scale. The I. Aries brings us back to the primordial fire of selfhood, the instinct to exist, to act, to desire, to protect what is alive within us. And perhaps this is where the rel

Twice a year, the Earth arrives at a moment of exquisite equilibrium. The Sun crosses the celestial equator, and for a breath, day and night stand almost equal. In the Northern Hemisphere, we begin the descent into autumn. In the Southern Hemisphere, the Earth begins to rise into spring. One hemisphere releases. The other emerges. And yet, both are participating in the same movement of the Earth around the Sun. This is the mystery of the Equinox | balance does not mean samene

We are always experiencing something. There is always something moving through us, something asking to be understood, something taking shape beneath what we can immediately see. There is what is happening, and then there is everything quietly moving behind the scenes | the invisible threads that pull at our attention, our emotions, our choices, our encounters. This relationship between the visible and the invisible has become the foundation of my own practice. Over the years,

There are moments in the celestial cycle when a planet appears to turn backwards through the sky. We call this retrogradation, but symbolically, it is less about going backwards than about turning inward. And when Venus retrogrades through Scorpio, the invitation is particularly intimate. Venus is not Mercury. Although Venus and Mercury will briefly retrograde simultaneously, their invitations are different. Mercury retrograde asks us to reconsider how we think, communicate,

The Gnomes earth For grounding, structure, discernment, methodology, commitment and the conscious stewardship of our time and energy. The Undines water For emotional flow, receptivity, adaptability, softness, nourishment and the conscious expression of our needs and feelings. The Salamanders fire For vitalit

There is something about the return from summer that always feels like a quiet turning inward. Summer has its own invitation to expansion. The sun draws us outward. We travel, we gather, we return to family and friends, we move through different landscapes and rhythms. There is more light, more life outside of us, and somehow we are encouraged to follow it there. We open, we reach, we experience. And then, almost imperceptibly, the movement changes. We come home. We return to

Pisces is the alchemist of the cosmos, the realm of the unseen, of spiritual potential, of the mysterious womb where what cannot yet be seen is conceived, gestated and eventually brought into form. It is the place where the visible and invisible worlds meet. And as this Lunar Eclipse illuminates Pisces, I find myself witnessing that archetype not only in the sky, but reflected so intimately in my own microcosmos. Pisces is my sixth house | the house of ritual, devotion, daily

As the Sun enters Virgo, the first Earth of the zodiac, we are invited back to essence, to simplicity, purity and the primordial innocence of who we are. Virgo reminds us that before creating the systems that hold our lives, we must first remember what is worth preserving | that original spark of love and light within us. In mythology, Astraea, goddess of justice and innocence, was said to have remained among mortals during the Golden Age, living alongside humanity and witnes

There are moments when the way we ordinarily perceive the world becomes too familiar. We move through the same memories, the same relationships, the same beliefs about ourselves. We return to the same emotional patterns, often without realizing that we are looking through a particular architecture of perception. An altered state of consciousness can offer a passage beyond that familiar architecture. Not necessarily by giving us something new, but by allowing us to see w

Today Mars enters Cancer, bringing the force of action into the waters of belonging | Our roots, lineage, family, home and the places where we seek nourishment. In mythology, Ares is the warrior, instinctive, passionate and quick to act. Poseidon, ruler of the waters, belongs to another realm | shifting, mysterious and impossible to conquer by force. When the warrior enters the waters, the invitation is to discover that not everything can be resolved through action. Some thin

Lately I have been thinking a lot about space. We speak so much about time, perhaps because time is easier for us to perceive. We have Chronos, the measurable movement of things, the passing of seasons, the accumulation of years. We organize our lives around time, we make plans according to time, we speak constantly about what has happened and what is yet to come. But there is another dimension through which we experience our existence just as profoundly | SPACE. We are being

This Solar Eclipse in Leo carries a particularly potent symbolism | the Sun is being eclipsed in the sign it rules. The source of light enters shadow, as an invitation to encounter the potential of our own inner light before it becomes visible again. A Solar Eclipse is a New Moon | a moment of seed, beginning and gestation. And in Leo, that seed speaks of self-realization, creative vitality, sovereignty and the spark that makes us uniquely alive. This is also where I find a

The minerals are Earth’s condensed teachings, gestated deep in the molten core of her womb, beneath all that moves, blooms, breathes, and breaks. Before the plants, before the animals, before thought, there were the minerals. They are Earth’s first language. To hold a stone is to touch something that has always been moving, folding, refining, sharpening, waiting. Minerals are movement in stillness. And when they become crystal, they become clarity. We often speak of crystals

This reflection began on the island of Delos. While hosting a retreat on the neighboring island of Mykonos, the only journey we made beyond our practice space was a pilgrimage across the waters to this sacred land. We walked quietly among the ancient stones, allowing the myth to reveal itself through the landscape rather than through books. The warmth of the sun, the untamed Aegean carried by the wind, the taste of salt, and the silence held within those ruins made it easy to

What if the answers you are looking for are already within you? The Guides Oracle is a contemplative deck created to help you return to that inner knowing. Rather than offering answers from the outside, the cards create a space in which your own perception can become clearer. Through image, scent, stone, sensation and intuition, each card invites you to slow down, listen inward and notice what is already trying to reveal itself. The Guide is within. The card opens the door. E

Preparing for the Solar Eclipse + Chyron | The Journey into the West As we prepare for the New Moon and Solar Eclipse in Leo, I find myself returning once again to The Odyssey. Because it is the story of every human being who longs to find the way back to themselves. There is a moment that has stayed with me. Following Circe's guidance, Odysseus sails westward, to the edge of the known world, where he descends into Hades seeking the counsel of Tiresias. He does not journey th

Every time I travel in service of what my soul has been entrusted to share, I leave with the quiet certainty that I receive far more than I could ever offer. What begins as a breathwork gathering inevitably becomes something much older, a remembrance woven through friendship, reciprocity, shared laughter, unexpected encounters, and the ancient whispers that seem to arrive whenever hearts gather with sincerity. It is in those unscripted moments, in the spaces we resist filling
